Design Concept

Located in Yanqi Lake, APEC Convention Centre combined the beauty of classical architecture with modernity.

The design requiresm the whole building to highlight the red color of China, and the color must not be distorted. A single 5-meter column should be illuminated evenly without destroying the building body or installing a screw. Through repeated simulation of light effect experiments, ROLEDS has found the best effect in the process by choosing LEDil lens and Cree XPG (2700K) LED to achieve 90% CRI lighting of the vanue, and finally been recognized by architects, lighting designers and owners.

Installation and Safety

Due to the particularity and importance of APEC Summit, ROLEDS has given a comprehensive technical handover and installation safety guidance to the lighting fixtures.

Installation: Customize the installation chassis of luminaires for good connection, and use engineering waterproof and weatherproof Silicone fixed.

Color: Use high CRI LED chips and narrow optical lens to achieve uniform illuminating and ensure Chinese red color not distorted.

Electrical Safety Protection: Adopt international first-class American semiconductor chips as a low-voltage constant-current drive to ensure the safety and stability of electrical appliances.

Fire Prevention: Five sets of configuration in series to prevent damage between luminaires and protect manual  connection and unified input line access to the safety of electrical protection box can  ensure its fire safety.
