Design Concept
“Legends of the Mountain and Sea
Old Stone leans on the sea, back to the city, surrounded by the mountain and beach, and perfectly blends the beauty of “mountain, sea and city”.
Sea Stone Sculpture (Before Lighting)
In order to create the legendary color of the seaside stone in the night, the designer illuminates the old stone by lighting, and tells the story of the seaside in light language.

Luminaire
“ Far away from the shore, there is a legendary light.
This 17-meter-high rock is surrounded by the sea and 300 meters away from the coastline. This poses a huge challenge to the lighting plan for the Old Stone Man, which can only be precisely illuminated from a long distance.
Lighting Layout Design
ROLEDS MATRIX 3.0 has the characteristics of 300 meters long-range precise illuminating with a very small angle to ensure a strong center of light, which provides an absolute guarantee for the perfect illumination of the old stone. In the early stage of the project, the draft design and illumination simulation were tested and evaluated.
Preliminary Sketch
After continuous on-site commissioning, we finally installed 5 sets of luminaires on the four poles for long-distance illuminating, and evenly lit the old stone.

When night falls, the stone old man stands in the night, pure, bright, gentle hue makes the isolated reef reveal the legendary feeling, become the protagonist in the night, glorious and moving.
